Chris, Alicia, Shawn and I took a trip to Niagara Falls. We took the SS Badger across Lake Michigan and then drove through MI and into Canada at Port Huron.. we stayed in Canada. The first evening we just drove around and them ate at the Rain Forest Cafe...It was YUMMMY..
Alicia and I took the Skyway..which is a big ferris wheel type thing...got a very nice veiw of the fall and all around... Chris could not go cuz Shawn was afraid.
We got to see the falls lite up a night..very pretty...but the "music" of the fall is the best.
On the American side we did the Cave of the Winds...which is where you go down in front of the America and Bridal Veil falls..Shawn did not like the thought of it, but thought it was great fun when he got there.. We also did the Maid of the Mist ride which goes in front of the Horse Shoe falls. I was able to do these thanks to a wheel chair..
We did the Skylon,too...Shawn was afraid of that also..but did great once we were up there...he LIKED it!!!
On a rainy day we went to Marineland...saw the dolphins, seals, and whales...
We came home the same way..but the best was that we were on the boat at sunset time..so I got to get pictures!!!!
