Shawn's birthday

Last week was busy getting ready for the birthday party..he was to get a swingset-playhouse for his gift and if was to be a surprise! Chris needed to get it together, but unexpectedly Shawn was at our house all week,he went to his aunt's house for Thurs. and Fri. that helped so we able to keep it a surprise..When he saw it he didn't know what to say or do!!! He also got several transformers, which is what he into now..

Saturday Alicia and Chris rented a pontoon boat on the Chain of Lakes..Chris' friend and family came along.That was the first time that I'd been on the chain...it is very pretty.. but was disappointed that it is built up with homes all around it..

Monday

We got another inch of rain tonight..in a big downpour!!

Got to go out for lunch with Jr., Marlene, Denny, Marlyn and Steve on Sunday.. first time that we've had that chance in a while..it was Chinese this time..

Shawn came back to our house tonight.. things didn't go to well at his Mom's.. he seems happy to be here...

Checked on the folks today..they are doing pretty good..Mom is getting anxious about taking care of the paper work...

On Saturday, Chris, Shawn and I had supper with Levi and Kayla at the Texas Roadhouse..Levi and Shawn's favorite!!

Had a nice visit with Lynda last Thursday...we did some antique looking and had to eat of course..

1 Year!!!!

Today is one year of living here in this house and 2 years since Alicia's house fire... sure are thankful that no one was hurt and now we can just go on..

We had another inch of rain today... that really helps all the new planting around here.. and I suppose the weeds will be coming back too...

Cleaned up my little abode today for company tomorrow!! Looking forward to Lyn coming to visit!!

I'm back...

It's been a while since I wrote..didn't know if I wanted to keep on...
Our gardens are looking very nice...and the weeds like it too!!! It is nice to sit out on my patio and listen to the fountain and the birds... Put up two more feeders this weekend..hoping to get more birds...
went to town today and found a couple more pairs of shoes that I can wear...don't want to get "granny" kinds yet it I don't have to!!!!
Been reading on line about others with sarcoidosis...interesting and helps to know others have the same symptoms.. and also the same reactions to the prednisone..
I'll post some Wisconsin pictures...
