We all needed more storage...so we bought a barn that needed to be built...once we had a couple weeks to work on it ... it got started...Chris and Robbie did most of the work....beings as I was not too mobile I  painted all the trim....so here is what it looks like all finished!!!!

Nana and Papa's

After meeting today we were going to have a picnic in the park....the first park we went by was getting full ... so we were heading for another when it was mentioned to go to Nana and Papa's place....
Chris got a picnic table out and we sat by the lake and enjoyed a chicken dinner.

Their place is very pretty...Papa spends a lot of time working in the yard and it is right on the end of a lake. The boys enjoyed running around with their dog Honey.

ROSES

The roses are blooming beautifully this year..we have a rose garden on the south side of the house by my bedroom windows.  The pictures on the right are "played" with in pic-monkey

Mason is 3

Today May 31st Mason turned 3 years old.....the expression on his face when he saw the cake Mom made him was priceless! He is all into big machines that dig and haul dirt and gravel around and of course rocks.....no shortage of rocks at our place! The party is on Saturday with family coming.... picture taken and edited by AL

update

I was to the Dr. on Tuesday for a check up on my ankle...the report was good and was told I could start putting some weight on it and increase it some every week  and return for another  X-ray in four weeks.

This Sunday night and I am going to spent my first night at "home" since I had surgery!!! Still am using the wheelchair some to get around...but did use a walker to go to meeting....that is slow going though

This last week I had been able to do the dishes and the laundry...also went out and painted on the barn trim...sitting down!!
