It's been a week since I came to Iowa.
We moved Mom and Dad on Friday...it went pretty smoothly.. Dad's comment was when we told him we were moving him was " to the nursing home?" Glad we don't have to do that. I have taken them out to the farm twice,,,we went Sunday afternoon and Dad just took a walk around the place...he said we left " too hasty" which I guess we did on Friday. Yesterday -Monday- we went out in the afternoon and got the mail and a few other things.
Mom keeps busy making it a home..and then takes a rest and starts all over. Dad eats good but other than that he rests..
Peter and his girls, Syd and his family, Janna and family and later Brant and Joyce were all here to help with the move,... THANKS EVERYONE!!!
I'm gradually getting the phone and other paper work in order..need to go to the bank yet.
Sorry I can't send pictures.
I had the ladies at the library help me and they didn't know how to fix the problem...

Mason's hat
Today was the first time Mason wore his new hat that Lindsey B. made him, isn't he cute in the cute hat???
Thanksgiving Centerpiece
The hydrangeas are from our flower garden...I like to dry them for decorating. This year there were only a few blooms..hope for more next year!

Veteran's Day Programs
Shawn's program and the Color Guard.
Trevor's program and the veterans that were there.
Yesterday was the programs for Veteran's Day at the schools...I was able to get Trevor's and Shawn's...Emily and Erin's was the same time as Trevor's but in different schools...so Kara went to theirs.
I spent Tuesday night at Kara's and watched the kids while she went to a school meeting.
I want to put a few pictures of their "new" living room..
The plans are made to move Mom and Dad the 27th..day after Thanksgiving..hope they will accept the move as there is no other way.. Dad seems restless or whatever you call it.. I will stay with them til they seem to be comfortable...
