This past Friday night Kara, Kayla, and I had night out..we went to a scrapbook and card making demo...you can make whichever one you want..we did scrapbook pages...this is the result...they have it the last Friday of the month.

When I went to Kara's after coming home from Dad's funeral she happened to go through some of the girl's things and found this page that Emily had done quite some time ago...so cute to see what their memories of Mom and Dad are....

This stepping stone was a gift from Levi and Kayla...I have it by our little pond in our rock garden beyond my patio. Thanks Levi and Kayla...

Iowa's highest point!!!

On all the trips back and forth to Sibley...there was a sign that pointed to Iowa's highest elevation....really not much more than a bump!!! Kara and family had stopped to see it, so thought I would too..

But what was more interesting to me was that when you came out of the drive and headed west directly across highway 60 was the farm that Dad was working on when the folks got married.

Also the people's son came to visit Mom after the funeral.. So nice of him...sure it had been a long time since they had seen him.
