Kara and Alicia and I --the kids too--are having a scrap booking day..I got some done..worked on the pictures that Mom had of the grand kids as babies...just need pictures of Peter kids..am also putting the great-grands in there.

I did some things on the cricut..will show a picture of what I did...

We didn't get the storms like some..but Sunday morning everything looked like lace.

My son-in-law Christian was born on Christmas day in 1973... He is a pretty good "joe" or Chris!! even with all the kidding etc. that goes on...Wishing him many more...
I don't have a late picture of him and his boys...so here's one with Mason on the way back from Iowa..

I am home after 3 weeks in Iowa and Minnesota...we have Mom and Dad settled in Sibley..it is not what we wanted to do but Mom can not care for Dad by herself...Janna called today and they will be able to move to a double room next Wednesday...read her blog for the rest of details..

I got to see my little grandson when Chris and Alicia came to help with the 2nd move...thank you to them!!

We traveled back to Wisconsin together...got home at 10:30 PM...

The whole group of us that was there.. Janna, Kerry, Laura, Evan, Issac and me and the "groom and his bride"!!!

The activity director of the home set it up so we could have a table in a room by ourselves..they put out coffee, tea, and water for us.. Janna and I cut out snowflakes on the cricut to use as place mats. Blue and winter was the theme.

Today is Mom and Dad's 59th anniversary...Janna and family and I plan to go and have a small party with cake and gifts for them this afternoon.

Since I am not home I don't have the pictures I wanted to put on here..so will do that when I get home..

They were not too happy when we got there yesterday...they thought their girls forgot about them..not so we just had to get a few things before we went there..we did have tea with them and met their tablemates...we hope they will adjust and like it there.

Willow Creek Place

It's been a week since I came to Iowa.
We moved Mom and Dad on Friday...it went pretty smoothly.. Dad's comment was when we told him we were moving him was " to the nursing home?" Glad we don't have to do that. I have taken them out to the farm twice,,,we went Sunday afternoon and Dad just took a walk around the place...he said we left " too hasty" which I guess we did on Friday. Yesterday -Monday- we went out in the afternoon and got the mail and a few other things.
Mom keeps busy making it a home..and then takes a rest and starts all over. Dad eats good but other than that he rests..
Peter and his girls, Syd and his family, Janna and family and later Brant and Joyce were all here to help with the move,... THANKS EVERYONE!!!
I'm gradually getting the phone and other paper work in order..need to go to the bank yet.
Sorry I can't send pictures.
I had the ladies at the library help me and they didn't know how to fix the problem...
