Happy Birthday Pete!!!!

Back in 1956 a new baby came to our home....I don't remember that time but I do remember Mom taking care of him..He is now the father of a nice family down in Oklahoma.

When Levi was little and we were farming we took him to the barn with us..to keep him out of trouble we would put him in the bedding basket in the isle....welllll the other day I wanted to comb my hair and Mason did not like laying on the living room floor by himself...I put him in the laundry basket!!!! He liked it!!

Pumpkin Time!!

This past weekend I watched Mason and Shawn while Alicia slept (she works nights) and Chris worked on my car...he had it up and running for Sunday!!
Sunday was meeting and then lunch with the usual...haven't done that in ages...missed having Steve with us.
Today I had a Dr. appointment in Green Bay..reports were good and he did say I would probably never get rid of the disease...which I pretty well had figured that out. But glad that the meds keep it all under control..for the most part.
Today while I was gone Mason rolled over from his back to his tummy!! He had almost done it before I left...he'll be getting around before we know it.

Mason turned over for the first time this morning and Shawn was the only one that saw him do it!!! That made Shawn feel pretty special..

Alicia started a photo session this afternoon, but Mason got tired of it all before we were done...so here are a few..

Fall Decorations

Trip to Iowa

I left last Wednesday the 30th for Iowa..had a good trip,it was a nice fall day with wind and sunshine.

In Thursday it was windy and rainy..I took the folks to see Willow Creek Place in Le Mars and we filled out some of the papers. It is a very nice place..new.. so the apartment is new..Mom has never had a new home. She liked it.. Dad not so much..he now does not want to move..so we are using the thing about for the winter.

On Monday, Wendell and Vivian..Mom's brother and wife came to visit...was a nice visit and she brought most of the dinner..

I hope to be able to do the rest of the paperwork by mail for the folks and then go back when we move them..

Was great to get home and see Mason..he learned to do so many little things while I was gone... and this weekend I will get to see Emily and Erin and Shawn...Trevor will be gone with his Dad.

Alicia and I did some fall decorating outside this evening..but I don't have the pictures...maybe tomorrow..
